The research insights provided immediate validation and built crucial early momentum for product adoption. I continue to lead user research and UX design for the registry, collaborating closely with the Product Owner and engineering teams to iteratively scale features and increase custodian engagement.
Objective
Stepping into an ongoing project, I transformed complex functional requirements into clear, intuitive interface designs while executing a visual refresh to ensure full accessibility and usability standards.
When asked to host a user workshop, I strategically pivoted the approach to 1-on-1 usability testing. This allowed us to directly evaluate whether the portal outperformed existing manual processes and met core custodian workflows.
Conducted testing with six key data custodians, securing overwhelmingly positive feedback. Beyond validating the interface, these sessions served as a vital onboarding tool—prompting several participants to initiate software trials within their organisations despite complex internal governance hurdles.
